Soltilo Bright Stars quest for first victory in visit to Gaddafi

Gaddafi FC are in search of second consecutive victory as they host wounded Soltilo Bright Stars who are seeing to register their maiden victory.

The Soldier boys managed to register their first win of the season when they beat Busoga United thanks to Steven Munguchi who scored their only goal in the 1-0 victory.

On the other hand, Soltilo Bright Stars suffered their first loss of the season in their previous game to SC Villa 1-0.

This will be the third meeting between the two sides and in the last two, each side won once.

Wasswa Bbosa anticipates a tough battle but has massive confidence in his side.

“Winning our previous game motivated the players in gaining confidence and they are focused on a second consecutive victory. We know our opponents have a good squad with good coaches but we are to bank on the home advantage.”

Johnson Odong and Yunus Sibira will be subjected to a late fitness test.

Soltilo Bright Stars will be without Ashraf Mulindi due to a knock he sustained in the previous games, Isa Bugembe, Simon Ssemayange, Shamuran Kamya and Ibrahim Kasinde are away on national duty with the U20 national team.

The good news is that Sam Ssenyonjo is back after missing four games.

Gaddafi are nineth with six points while their opponents are a position below less by one point.
