Somali Champions unveil Mbalangu as new head coach


Mogadishu City Club (MCC) has reappointed Ugandan coach Hussein Mbalangu as the new head coach.

Mbalangu joins the Mogadishu based giants from Buganda Regional League side Seeta United, a side he leaves on top of the Sezibwa group.

He has been awarded a contract of two years which is renewable.

The CAF A tactician replaces Tunisian Mohammed Mistiri Lamjed who joined MCC in 2019.

During his previous four years stay at Mogadishu City Club, Mbalangu guided them to two Somalia Premier League titles, one Somalia Cup and one Super Cup.

Mbalangu has previously coach at Bugoba FC, The Saints, Tanzanian side Azam FC, SC Villa, Arua Hill SC and Mbarara City.
