 Ssemujju set to join Tanzanian club

Former BUL FC forward Joseph Ssemujju has joined Tanzania Premier league side Mbeya City FC.

Ssemujju joins the Tanzanian outfit has a free agent after parting ways with Bul FC last year.

The winger who officially announced his departure from BUL FC has also been linked with move to SC Villa in the ongoing transfer window.

At Mbeya City, he will be under the stewardship of CAF A licensed Ugandan Coach Matia Lule who has been with the side for the past two seasons.

He becomes the third Ugandan player to cross to the Tanzanian premier league in the current January transfer window. The others are Hamis Diego Kizza and Brian Muluuli Mayanja who joined Kagera Sugar and Mtibwa Sugar respectively.

After 12 games so far this season, Mbeya City are the currently sitted third with 19 points.

Ssemujju has previously featured for Vipers SC, SC Villa, Proline, Express FC and lately BUL FC.
