Sserunjogi eyes knockout against Congolese as Bobi Wine’s trainer returns to the ring

John Sserunjogi has promised to knockdown DR. Congo’s Lucien Botumbe when the two face off in the East and Central Middleweight title fight.

Sserunjogi has promised to defend his title against the Congolese pugilist on April 17th, Easter Sunday at Muganzirwaza rooftop in Katwe.

“I am going to discipline the Congolese and he will return to his native singing my name. I call upon the boxing fans to come in big numbers tomorrow.”

Botumbe is also optimistic to dethrone Sserunjogi

“I have prepared well and I am very ready to take on Sserunjogi. I want to win the title since I have been training hard for it.”

Meanwhile, professional boxers Robinson Mudde Ntambi will return to action on the same day when he takes on Mustafa Mongolia.

Mudde commonly known as Ghetto coach and a trainer to opposition politician Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu alias Bobi Wine his last fight was three years ago when he lost to Russian Viskhan Murzabekov in Colosseum.

His opponent Mongolia has also been inactive since April 17th, 2016.

Mudde has won 23, lost 8 and drawn once of his 32 professional fights whereas Mongolia has lost 14 of his 15 professional fights, only winning once.
