Nine time Stanbic Uganda Cup winners SC Villa prevailed to the Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 32 with a 4-0 win over SC Tawai in Dokolo on Thursday.

Goals from Charles Lwanga, Abasi Kyeyune, Elvis Ngonde and Aslam Ssemakula sent Dusan Stojanovic’s side into the round of 32.

Maroons were stunned by third division side Busei FC 1-0 in Iganga.

NEC FC beat Northern Division FC 2-1 in Mbale to advance to the round of 32.

Brian Kayanja and Marvin Kavuma scored the two goals for Hussein Mbalangu’s side in the second half.

UPDF FC were eliminated by third division side Pajule Lions.

Pajule advanced to the round of 32 with a 1-0 victory over the army side.

Arua Hill SC woes continued after they were eliminated by Nsambya FC.

Former Express FC and URA FC winger Michael Birungi struck a brace for the Nsambya based side as they prevailed to the next round with a 3-0 win over Arua Hill.

SC Villa, NEC, Nsambya FC, Dove FC, Pajule Lions, Busei FC join KCCA FC and Wakiso Giants into the round of 32.
