Stanbic Uganda Cup: Villa beat Super Eagles to set up round of 32 tie against Express

SC Villa cruised to the round of 32 of the Stanbic Uganda Cup with a 3-0 win over Super Eagles at Pece Stadium on Monday in the round of 64.

Goals from Nicholas Kabonge, Sadam Ibrahim Juma and Amir Kakomo ensured that the nine time competition winners prevail to the round of 32.

In the round of 32, Villa will lock horns with arch rivals Express FC at the Muteesa II Stadium at yet a confirmed date.

Kabonge gave the visitors the lead at the stroke of halftime.

Sadam doubled their advantage in the 57th minute from the spot after Benson Muhindo had been brought down in the forbidden area.

Second half substitute, Kakomo made it 3-0 deep in stoppage time as Villa prevailed to the round of 32.

Meanwhile, the draws of the round of 16 of the Stanbic Uganda Cup will be conducted on Wednesday morning at FUFA house
