Newly crowned Uganda Premier League champions Express FC have officially parted ways with striker Frank Kalanda “Machete”.

He was the club’s top scorer in the 2019/20 campaign having managed 12 goals before the league was prematurely ended due to the pandemic.

Kalanda leaves Express after scoring 18 goals in 52 appearances across all competitions in the last two seasons.

He was sparingly used last season but scored six goals across all competitions as Express won the Uganda Premier League for the first time since 2012.

Kalanda has also previously played for URA and Soana (now Tooro United) in the topflight.
