Bright Stars 1-3 Mbarara City
Second half substitute Jude Ssemugabi scored a brace as Mbarara City humbled Bright Stars 3-1 at Kavumba.
Midfielder Solomon Okwalinga scored the third goal while Bernard Muwanga pulled one back for the losing side.

Ssemugabi replaced Ivan Eyam in the 50th minute before breaking the deadlock with a header from a Jasper Aheebwa cross four minutes later.
The lanky striker made it 2-0 from Brian Aheebwa’s ball in the 80th minute and Okwalinga put the icing on the cake five minutes later.
Muwanga found a consolation with a free kick inside the added time.

The result puts a halt on Bright Stars’ perfect home record in the second round having previously won all the five games they hosted at Kavumba.
Mbarara City remain seventh on the table with 36 points while Bright Stars are 11th with 29 points.
