TANZANIA: Simba SC coach arrested in possession of heroin and marijuana

Simba SC goalkeepers coach Muharami Said Sultan is under police custody after being arrested for dealing in drugs.

Said Sultan who is also a former player of Simba, was among the 11 suspects that were found in possession of 34.89 kgs of heroin and 50 marijuana biscuits.

His arrest was confirmed by Gerald Kasaya the Commissioner General of Tanzania’s Drug Control Enforcement Authority in a press conference.

Said Sultan was arrested alongside the owner of Cambiasso Sports Academy and one scout of the academy.

After his arrest, Simba released a statement confirming the incident.

The club has already announced the appointment of Chlouha Zakaria from Morocco as the new fitness and goalkeepers coach.
