Tooro United relegated to the Big league following defeat to UPDF

Tooro United’s 1-0 defeat to UPDF at Bombo Military Barracks grounds confirmed their relegation to the FUFA Big League.

Ivan Ahimbisibwe’s sole goal ensured the Army side moved away with maximum points and also guaranteed their place in next season’s fixtures.

It was a barren first half with both sides creating no opportunity that could lead to a break through.

Ahimbisibwe’s moment came in the 60th minute thanks to Musa Mudde’s well taken corner kick.

Victory takes the Army side to the eighth position with 33 points from 26 games.

Tooro United are officially relegated with only ten points from the same number of games.

UPDF next play URA FC on Friday 29th-April at Bombo Military Barracks grounds.

A day later, Tooro United will host KCCA FC at Buhinga Stadium in Fort Portal.
