TRANSFERS : Express FC set to sign former captain

Express FC have reportedly agreed terms with defensive midfielder Steven Luswata.

Swift Sports understands that Luswata who nearly joined the Wankulukuku based side in January this year now expected to put pen to paper on a two year employment contract.

In case the move materialises, Luswata will be returning to the side he served for three seasons from 2015 until 2018 when he joined Tooro United after falling out with Express FC management.

The defensive midfielder captained the Red Eagles in the 2017-18 season before he fell out with the technical team towards the closing stages of the campaign.

He will also be reuniting with current Express FC head coach Wasswa Bbosa.

Luswata has also previously served at Vipers SC where he won the 2014/15 League title, Express FC and Tooro United. He is also a Masaza Cup graduate with Gomba.

Last season, Express FC finished 9th on  the Uganda Premier league table with 31 points garnered from the 25 games played.
