Kirinya Jinja SS midfielder Godfrey Akol is on the verge of signing for Vipers SC.
Akol has been a key figure for the Jinja based side and helped them finish in 5th position on the AUPL log last season.
According to his representatives from Noel management agency, they will meet with Vipers’ president Lawrence Mulindwa and technical director Eddie Butindo tomorrow to finalize the deal.

It’s believed that BUL FC is also interested in Akol’s signature but the midfielder fancies a move to Vipers SC and the deal is close to completion.
Akol played 28 league games last season for Kirinya registering 6 assists, did not score a single goal but he was phenomenon in shielding the Jinja outfit back line.
He has previously played for lower division sides such as Ngora Freda Car, Bukedea Town Council and Kolir FC
