SC Villa attacking midfieder Travis Mutyaba has left the country for greener pastures in Scotland.
Mutyaba leaves the record Uganda Premier league champions SC Villa with a year left on his employment contract.
Swift Sports Uganda understands that a top official from FUFA was instrumental in Mutyaba’s move to Scotland.
Mutyaba changed agents earlier this year. The attacker was previously represented by Eugene Sepuya. He now represented by a top FUFA official and his his father.

Sources reveal, that when Mutyaba turned 18 years this year, he refused to return to SC Villa’s training on directions of his representatives.
The transfer window in Scotland will come to an end tonight.
His new club is yet to be revealed but the player is currently in Scotland for a new challenge.
Mutyaba has featured for the U-15, U-17, U-20 national team sides. In 2020, he was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) as Uganda won the CECAFA U-17 tournament that was held in Rwanda.
Mutyaba was also part of the Uganda Cranes CHAN tournament team earlier this year.
He joins other departures at SC Villa who include Goffin Oyirwoth, Charles Bbaale, Gift Fred, Seif Batte among others.
