Tugume to face off with American in MMA Intercontinental title fight

Titus Tugume will lock horns with American Christopher Crosbay Aarons in the Mixed Martial arts (MMA) Intercontinental title fight.

The fight will be played in Cage ring on the 11th of February, 2022 at Auto Spa, Munyonyo.

Tugume was expected to fight American Daniel Chitown Gillihan on 26th January but was replaced by Crosbay after testing positive for covid-19.

“We were to face off with another American fighter on 26th January but on a sad note our opponent tested positive for Covid and he couldn’t travel so we requested for another fighter.”

Tugume shifted from Kickboxing to Mixed Martial arts. He has managed three MMA fights losing twice and one win.

His opponent Crosby has eight MMA professional fights, winning five and lost three. He won his previous fight against fellow countryman Willie Sears on 11th, December last year in the Midwest fight league.

Businessman Emmanuel Lwasa, Auto Spa, Yuvraj International TVS and his manager on the military side Moses Muganga have all supported Tugume to stage the fight.
