Farouk Miya will not be part of Konyaspor’s selection as the Anatolian Eagles visit Trabzonspor FC in the Turkish Super Lig on Sunday night.
Miya, who is also Konyaspor’s leading scorer this season, will miss the game due to suspension after accumulating four yellow cards.
The Uganda Cranes offensive midfielder was booked for the fourth time this term when he handled the ball in the box in the 2nd minute as Konyaspor beat table leaders Istanbul Basaksehir 4-3 last week.
Miya later made amends by scoring a brace and took his season tally to eight goals from the 24 games he has played so far.

Konyaspor are 14th on the 18-team table with 33 points, one above the relegation zone while their opponents Trabzonspor are in a title chase and are second with 64 points with only two games left.
Miya is expected to return to action when Konyaspor host Alanyaspor FC in their final league game next week on Sunday.
