Uganda Cranes lanky defender Ronald Ddungu Mukiibi has parted ways with Swedish topflight side Degerfors IF following an injury-laden season.
Mukiibi joined Degerfors IF in January this year but was only limited to three appearances for the club due to persistent injury problems.
Mukiibi impressed in the first three games of the season before sitting out the entire campaign as Degerfors raced for league safety in the topflight league.
He leaves the club mutually with a year left on his initial contact.

It should be noted that versatile defender has five appearances for the Uganda Cranes.
The lanky defender who can play as a right back and a center back made his debut in Uganda’s 1-0 win over Ivory Coast in a friendly in Abu Dhabi in 2019.
He went to play against Zimbabwe in the 2019 AFCON tournament, a friendly against Ethiopia in 2019 as well as in the AFCON qualifiers against South Sudan and Malawi in 2020.

Mukiibi was born in Goteborg Sweden and has previously played for Qviding FIF, Gunnilse IS, BK Hacken and Ostersunds FK.
He spent seven seasons at Ostersunds and helped the club gain promotion to the topflight and featured against Arsenal in the UEFA Europa League.
