Ronald Mukiibi has joined Swedish topflight club Degerfors IF on a two year contract.
Mukiibi has been a free agent after his employment contract with Ostersunds FK expired at the end of last season.
The lanky defender leaves Ostersunds after serving six years. Prior to the move, Mukiibi was linked to a move to Poland.
Mukiibi is expected to make his debut on Tuesday evening as Degerfors IF host OSIF in preparation of the new season that starts in April.

At international level, Mukiibi has played five times for the Uganda Cranes since making his debut in 2019. He was part of the squad that represented Uganda in the 2019 AFCON in Egypt.
Due to injury, Mukiibi was limited to only 12 games last season but managed to score two goals in the process as Ostersunds FK got relegated from the topflight to the second tier.
He has also previously played for Qviding in the lower divisions and BK Hacken in the topflight.
