Lubega’s journey in Europe continues, having left Proline FC in 2017 for Floridsdorfer Athletik Club and SV Ried in Austria.
He joined Paide Linnameeskond last year and subsequently emerged as the second top scorer of the league with 14 goals behind Rauno Sappinen of Flora Tallinn.

Last season, the Portuguese second tier league was home to Uganda Cranes left back Alex Kakuba who was turning out for CD Cova da Piedade.
Despite surviving relegation at the end of the season, Cova da Piedade have been demoted to the third tier after failing to produce valid licensing documentation to compete in the forthcoming season which is expected to kick off next month.
