The Uganda Cricket Association (UCA) will appoint a new Chief Executive Officer following Martin Ondeko’s departure.
Ondeko’s three tenure as CEO has come to an end and now UCA will begin the search for his replacement immediately.
“My innings at Uganda Cricket Association come to an end on 31/03/2022. I have been privileged to serve the game that gave me so much. It’s now time for someone else to carry on. I take great friendships and memories from the job and will now enjoy the game as a fan.” Ondeko revealed on his Twitter account
Ondeko has been with Uganda Cricket Association for over 13 years, three of those have been as CEO.

In UCA, he worked as an Administrative Officer, Operations officer and acting CEO until his time of appointment at the helm of Cricket.
He became the third CEO after Muhumuza Mpeka and Justine Ligyalingi.
