Uganda drops two places in latest FIFA rankings

Uganda national senior football team, the Uganda Cranes have dropped further in the latest FIFA rankings.

In the latest FIFA rankings that were released on Thursday, 30th November, Uganda dropped from 90th to 92nd in the World. They are also ranked 19th in Africa.

Uganda were ranked 90th in the World in the previous rankings in October.

This month, Uganda played two FIFA 2026 World Cup Qualification games against Guinea and Somalia.

Paul Put’s charges lost 2-1 to Guineas before their narrow win over Somalia.

Meanwhile, Uganda’s next opponents Botswana are ranked 145th in the World while Algeria are 30th.

World champions Argentina are top of the World rankings followed by France, England, Belgium and Brazil respectively.
