Uganda Floorball Association receives playing equipments from Sweden

The Uganda Floorball Association (UFA) has received playing equipments from Sweden.

Uganda Floorball Association board member and founder of the game in Uganda Robert Zimula officially delivered the equipments to the Federation Chairman David Mugisha at Bweyogerere Artificial turf on Thursday.

The equipment comprises of 1000 balls, 500 sets of Jersey, bags and sticks.

The Swedish Floorball Association gave u playing equipments which I have delivered to the Uganda Floorball Association. We got the equipment in 2019 but due to Covid-19 shipping wasn’t easy for us but when the lockdown was relaxed we were able to transport them.”

Floorball was introduced in Uganda in 2015 and the Association is affiliated to National Council of Sports.
With their offices located at Postal Uganda in Kampala.

Over 22 clubs are registered by the Association, seven are for women.
