The East Africa PAMOJA has won the bid to host the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.
The announcement was made by CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe on Wednesday.
Motsepe also confirmed Morocco as the next hosts for the 2025 and Africa Cup of Nations.

Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya under the PAMOJA Bid will Co-host the continental showpiece in 2027.
The PAMOJA AFCON Bid beat Zambia , Botswana and Senegal. The last time an East African Member Association hosted the prestigious Africa Cup of Nations tournament was in 1976 in Ethiopia.
It should be remembered that on 28th and 29th July the CAF inspection team inspected the key venues in Uganda that were proposed.
The proposed venues in Uganda
Hospital – Mulago Hospital
Hotels – Sheraton Hotel and Kampala Serena Hotel
Training Grounds – Kampala International School Uganda (KISU), Muteesa II Stadium Wankulukuku, Denver Godwin Stadium, St. Mary’s Stadium and Nakivubo Stadium.
Stadiums – Mandela National Stadium, Akii Bua Stadium and Hoima (Proposed for construction)
Airports – Entebbe International Airport, Kabalega Airport, Hoima.
