Ugandan Bodybuilder Yakub Bin Hassan optimistic ahead of 2024 Arnold Sports Festival in USA

Ugandan Bodybuilder Yakub Bin Hassan alias Mr. Ten Packs will be representing the country at the Arnold Classic in Columbus, Ohio USA.

The prestigious event will be held on 29th- 3rd March in the USA.

Bin Hassan who has been under intensive training at Melin International Hotel Gym is optimistic that he will emerge victorious.

“This is not for Yakub Bin Hassan but for the country and Africa at large. I am so proud that I am going to representing the continent. I can only assure fellow Ugandans that I will return back victorious.”

“This a great achievement in my career as a bodybuilder. I remember I started my Body building career 15 years ago and now I am going to showcase my potential with the best in the world . I am not going to participate but to win the competition.” Said Bin Hassan.

He also thanked Melin International Hotel for the support they have rendered to him.

In case, Bin Hassan prevails at the Arnold Classic, he will walk away with $100,000 as Prize money. He also earned $2000 for qualifying.

The 2021 Mr. Kampala will be competing in the Men’s Physique Category and cities Arnold Kent as his main challenger.

The West Nile born began his bodybuilding journey in 2012 and was crowned Mr. Kampala in 2021. He also excelled at the 2022 South Africa Bodybuilding Championship in the Men’s Physique Category.

The IFBB Pro Arnold Sports Festival, also known as the Arnold Schwarzenegger Sports Festival, is an annual multi-sport event consisting of professional bodybuilding (Arnold Classic), strongman (Arnold Strongman Classic), fitness, figure and bikini weekend expo.

It was established in 1989 and is named after Arnold Schwarzenegger. It is considered the second-most-prestigious event in professional men’s bodybuilding, physique, figure and bikini after Joe Weider’s Olympia.
