Former Onduparaka FC midfielder Ivan Mboowa has joined Iraqi second tier side Al Sinaat Sports Club.
Mboowa has been out of action since leaving Botswana giants Township Rollers in October 2020.
The hard tackling midfielder becomes the second Ugandan player to join a club in Iraq during the transfer window.
Last week, Uganda Cranes skipper Emmanuel Okwi joined Iraqi record champions Al Zawraa Sports Club after his contract with Rwanda’s Kiyovu SC ended.

Mboowa is expected to inspire Al Sinaat SC in their bid to earn promotion to the topflight league.
His new club Al Sinaat was founded in 2009 and is owned by the Iraqi Ministry of Industry and Minerals.
They are coached by Mohsin Abdul Nabi and finished 8th of 24 teams last season.
