Ugandan striker Ben Ocen has agreed terms to join Rwanda Primus National League side Musanze FC.

Ocen is expected to sign a two year contract with the Rwandan club this week.

The versatile attacker will join Musanze as a free agent after his employment contract with Police FC officially came to an end at the end of last season.

Ocen was Police FC’s leading scorer in the league with 11 goals as the Cops finished 6th with 40 points when the league was prematurely ended by the Covid-19 resurgence.

He also scored five goals for the Cops in the Stanbic Uganda Cup and ensured that the Abdallah Mubiru coached side reach the semi final stage of the competition where they will face Vipers later this month.

He was also part of the Uganda Cranes team that took part in the CHAN tournament held in Cameroon early this year.

He will become the second Ugandan player from Police FC to join a Rwandan club in this current transfer window after right back Dennis Rukundo switched to AS Kigali.

Musanze FC is based in the City of Musanze, Rwanda and hosts league games at the Ubworoherane Football Stadium.

The club will be hoping to improve their performance after finishing 4th on the Relegation playoff table, four places above the drop zone.
