Newly promoted Uganda Premier League side UPDF FC has released 13 players.
Sydney Ssenyonga, Junior Akena, Moses Kamya, Enock Omakira, Titus Lubega, Jose Maria Lubega, Davis Kamista, Godwin Kawaga, Abdul-Karim Kasule, Emmanuel Egau, Abasi Kiberu, Fred Kalanzi and Roger Milla Ahumuza are the players that have been shown the exit at the army side.
The players who have been retained from the squad that featured in the Big League last season are captain Denis Ssekitoleko, Ronald Owinyi, goalkeeper Douglas Kisembo, Waiswa Andrew, Najib Tusaba, Christopher Kawuga, Robert Nakyenalire and Ezekiel Katende.

UPDF FC will be under the stewardship of former Express FC and Wakiso Giants head coach Kefa Kisala next season. He replaced Steven Bogere who was sacked by the club.
The army side has so far beefed up the squad with the following signings Jesse Kajuba, Ronnie Kisekka, Ibrahim Wammanah, James Begisa, Gadafi Gadihno and Simon Mbaziira.
