URA aim to get off the mark as wounded Gaddafi visit



URA FC will be eyeing their first win of the season when they host Gaddafi FC on Friday at Mehta Grounds in Lugazi on Friday.

The tax collectors played out to a goalless stalemate with UPDF FC in their opening league game.

Gaddafi on the other hand suffered a 2-1 home defeat to defending champions Vipers SC.

David Mutono coached side will be seeking to avoid a second consecutive defeat.

Fred Muhumuza is optimistic his URA charges will prevail

“It’s our first game at home and we want to start on a positive note. We didn’t win our first game at UPDF and this is a chance to turn things around. We have tried much to correct what we didn’t do well in the previous match and we hope for the best.” Said Muhumuza

URA FC will look up to Moses Aliro, Shariph Kimbowa, Laban Tibita for inspiration.

This will the fifth meeting between the two sides, in the previous four the tax men have won two, lost once to Gaddafi and the other game ending in a stalemate.
