URA to face Tanzanian giants in friendly game


Uganda Premier League side URA FC will make a trip to Tanzania to take on Tanzanian giants Azam FC in a friendly game.

It has been confirmed that both sides will face off on Sunday 18th September at 4pm at the Azam Complex in Dar es Salaam.

This is the second international friendly game for the Tax Collectors during their pre season preparations.

Their first was a 1-1 draw with Rwandan giants Rayon Sports on September 2nd at the Nyamirambo Stadium in Kigali.

Ibrahim Juma Dada scored a late equalizer in the 78th minute to earn a draw for the Sam Timbe coached side.

URA FC have previously had friendlies with Tooro United, Lugazi United, Koboko Raising Stars and Kyaggwe Saaza Team.

The club will start the 2022/23 Uganda Premier League season with a home fixture against Onduparaka at Nakisunga Saaza Ground on 1st October.
