Vipers SC started their title defense with a goalless stalemate against Bright Starts at St.Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.
The Venoms failed to breakdown Asaph Mwebaze’s organized side.
Mwebaze was returning to the Uganda Premier league touchline since 2019.
Vipers best chance in the first period fell to their talisman Yunus Sentamu whose header off a quality cross from Abdu Lumala went over the bar.
