Favourable fixtures do not present themselves any better than Maroons visiting Vipers when the defending champions are in search for their maiden victory of the season.

Vipers SC have struggled to find their foot in the domestic league despite the successful run on the continent after reaching the group stages of Africa’s biggest clubs’ competition for the first time in history.

A barren stalemate with Soltilo Bright Stars was followed by a loss to KCCA FC at Lugogo leaving them with a single point to show this time.

They will host a Maroons side that has not beaten them in the previous 12 meetings.

Vipers will however have to approach this game without putting the past in mind because this Maroons side is beaming with confidence having beaten KCCA FC 1-0 in their previou league outing at Luzira.
