Vipers confirm departure of Angolan Nzau

Vipers SC have confirmed the departure of Angolan midfielder Nzau Miguel Lutumba.

Nzau leaves the six time Uganda Premier league champions after expiration of his employment contract.

“The club would like to thank Nzau for his contributions while at St.Mary’s Stadium, he was a consummate professional and always a positive influence both on and off the field and we wish him the very best in future.”The Kitende based side confirmed Nzau’s departure on Thursday.

During his time at Vipers, Nzau made 15 appearances and won a Cup double with the club last season under Alex Isabirye.

Vipers have already confirmed the signing of midfielder Moses Waiswa who returns to the club after stints at SuperSport United and KCCA FC.

The Venoms finished the first round in second place with 30 points and three below leaders BUL FC.
