Vipers SC have elevated youngster Abdul Nsereko to their senior team from St.Mary’s Boarding School, Kitende.

Nsereko impressed Vipers SC head coach Charles Livingstone Mbabazi and his technical staff.

Last month, this website reported that Mbabazi and the club Chief Executive Officer Simon Njuba had a clash over the youngster.

Njuba had opted to loan out the player to Gaddafi FC for him to gain competitive playing time something that frustrated Mbabazi at that time.

Nsereko spent last season with FUFA Big League side Police FC who terminated his employment contract in August, 2023.

During the 2023 USSSA National Football Schools championship, Nsereko scored eleven goals to finish as the tournament’s top scorer, claiming the golden boot as SMASK emerged Champions.

In the January transfer window Vipers SC signed Moses Waiswa and part ways with Abdu Lumala and Angolan midfielder Nzau Miguel Lutumba.

They will kickoff their second round campaign against Gaddafi FC on Thursday at Kitende.
