Vipers continued to struggle after their goalless draw with Wakiso Giants at the St. Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.

The Venoms remain winless and yet to score in the five games across all competitions since Beto Bianchi took over helms at Kitende.

This was Vipers first game in the second round of the Uganda Premier due to their CAF Champions engagements.

Second half substitute Desire Tety had Vipers best chance but his effort hit into the side net.

Najib Yiga another second half introduction also had his low shot saved by Wakiso custodian Samson Kirya.

Sharip Kimbowa had Wakiso’s best chance deep in stoppage with only Alfred Mudekereza at his mercy but the forward could only force the custodian into a save.

Vipers couldn’t break down a well organized Purple Sharks defence led by former Vipers SC right back Paul Willa.
