Volleyball League Finals: Nemostars beat OBB in Game One to take early advantage

Nemostars beat OBB in game one of the 2021/22 National Volleyball League men’s finals at Old Kampala on Saturday.

Nemostars needed a decisive set to edge debutants OBB who had put up a great performance after winning two sets.

OBB won set one 25-23 before Nemo drew the tie level in the second second set 25-21.

OBB took the third set with 25-20 before Nemo had an improved fourth set winning 25-23 to force a decider.

In the decider who have won the previous three titles powered past OBB 15-8 to win game one.

Nemostars will smile to a fourth consecutive title next Saturday in case they win game two.

Meanwhile in the Women division, Vision Volleyball Club beat Ndejje Elites in Game one.
