Volleyball League Finals: OBB beat Nemostars to force decider

Orange Blockbusters (OBB) astonishingly beat Nemostars 3-1 to level (1-1) the best of three series of the National Volleyball League final played at the Old Kampala Arena on Saturday evening.

Nemostars started well taking the first set 25-18 and looked like they were on course of sealing the title before OBB bounced back to level the game 25-23. OBB won the took charge by winning the second 25-21

OBB sealed the victory in the fourth set 25-21 to force game three against Nemostars.

Nemostars had a disappointing evening as they failed miserably to hurt OBB.

Nemostars appeared flummoxed by OBB’s innovation and fluidity, they were merely clinging on for salvation on Saturday.

Game three will be played on Today at the Old Kampala Arena to determine the winner.

Nemostars are seeking for a fourth consecutive title whereas debutants OBB are looking for their first crown.

Meanwhile, Game three of the Women’s series A between Ndejje Elites and Vision Volleyball Camp will also be played today.

Ndejje Elites defeated Vision Volleyball Camp 3-1 to level the series.
In Serie B action, Sky Volleyball Club beat Sport-S 3-1 to take the serie 2-0. Both teams were promoted to Serie A.

In the ladies, OBB beat KAVC-A women 3-2 to also win the series 2-0, both teams will also play Serie A Volleyball next season.
