Wakiso Giants confirm new signings and departures

Wakiso Giants have confirmed their new signings and departures ahead of the 2022/23 season.

The Purple Sharks are under the stewardship of John Ayala Luyinda and will open their league campaign against KCCA FC on Saturday at the Philip Omondi Stadium.

During the just concluded transfer window, Wakiso beefed up their squad with new signings Bashir Sekagya (joined from Kenyan side Wazito), Mikdad Ssenyonga (URA FC), Pascal Irasa (Tooro United), Apollo Kagogwe, Lincoln Mukisa (Police FC), Kajjansi United duo of Collins Onega and Marvin Nyanzi, Norman Ojik returned to the club from Onduparaka FC.

Meanwhile, Mubarak Nsubuga who had also joined the club from Police FC decided to terminate his employment contract after suffering a bad injury.

Fahad Kawooya, Hassan Wasswa Dazo, Derrick Emukule, Ivan Bogere, Edward Satulo, Frank Ssenyondo and Simon Namwanja are the players who left the club.
