UPL side Wakiso Giants progressed to the round of 16 of the Uganda Cup despite playing to a two all stalemate with Tooro United at Buhinga Stadium in Fort Portal.
Edward Golola’s charges scored through Amir Sengoma and their talisman Marvin Oshaba in the 46th and 85th minutes respectively.
Joshua Lubwama and Vianne Ssekajugo were on target for Wakiso Giants in the ,67th and 92nd minutes respectively.

The Purple Sharks had won the first leg 5-1 thus they progress to the quarter finals of the 47th edition on 7-3 aggregate.
They join Express, SC Villa and Vipers SC among the teams that already qualified for the quarter finals.
Tooro United will have to wait abit to play their next game since the FUFA Big League first round has just concluded.

Wakiso Giants will host UPDF on Friday 7th-May in their next encounter in the Uganda Premier League.
