Wanderers opened up their National 50 over league campaign with an 18 run win against SKLPS in Entebbe on Sunday.
Wanderers who won the toss and elected to bowl 1st had to sweat for victory after being 60/1 as they chased down a small total of 78 against SKLPS.
Their main man Tembo Zubair registered two wickets in the opening over.
SKLPS on the other hand never recovered and only Yogesh Rabadiya was able to score double figures, he managed 36.
In the chase, Wanderers looked comfortable despite losing the wicket of Ronald Puwata early until they were 60/2 with 17 runs.
Skipper Abu Seguya contributed to 50 runs as Wanderers smiled to victory by 5 wickets.

The win will be keep for Wanderers whose main target is to keep topflight status this term.
Meanwhile in Lugogo, Ivan Thawithemwira scored unbeaten 114 as Nyakasura humbled Aziz Damani Development 2 by 104 runs.
Joseph Baguma and Pascal Murungi both contributed to Nyakasura’s win with 52 and 48 runs respectively.
Baguma also picked 3 wickets for 31 runs while Mathew Musinguzi managed 3 wickets for 25 runs to keep Aziz Damani Development 2 at 141.
