The Uganda Boxing Federation President Moses Muhangi has revealed that Boxing problems are as a result of lack of proper leadership.

Muhangi believes that the Boxing fraternity must seat together and find solutions that take the game forward.

“We can solve Boxing problems through having better leadership. The game has horrendously been affected due to the leadership wrangles. Everyone wants to be a President or general Secretary.”

“Boxing is the greatest sport in the country but due to the wrangles, many problems have been created to the sport.” We cannot win battles by fighting, we must seat together and discuss solutions that can take the game forward.”

Muhangi also stated that commercializing the sport would be better for the sport

“We have to commercialize the sport like other sports disciplines. This is because they streamlined not like us.”

Said Muhangi at the launch of the Dick Katende and Musa Kibirige Kent memorial day on Saturday.
