Winger Godfrey Lwesibawa has confirmed his departure from Gaddafi FC after only six months.

Lwesibawa is set to join FUFA Big League giants Kitara FC in this current mid-season transfer window.

” I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for welcoming me to Jinja when I joined the club in August 2022. During my stay at Gaddafi, I have continued to improve as a footballer.” Lwesibawa wrote.

He is set to become Kitara’s first signing in this secondary transfer window.

Lwesibawa has barely made impact at the Jinja based side following his engagement with the Sand Cranes in the early days of his contract.

He bounced to the topflight scene with Express FC 10 years ago and made subsequently his mark at Wankulukuku.

He went on to play for SC Villa and Tooro United before returning to Express FC and guided the Red Eagles to league title in 2021.
