Police FC lose ground after losing to Lugazi FC

It was pay back time at Lugazi Stadium as Big League debutants Lugazi FC defeated Police FC 1-0 as the second round of the FUFA Big League started.

Paul Wasswa scored in the 70th minute after Police FC goalkeeper Sammon Oloka saving Gerald Ogweti’s penalty first.

Referee George Nkurunziza awarded Lugazi FC a penalty after winger Moses Buga being brought down in the forbidden area.

Lugazi FC had lost the reverse fixture 1-0 courtesy of Emmanuel Mugume’s first half goal.

Victory helps Lugazi FC move to the eighth position with 20 points from 16 games.

Police FC remain in the fourth position with 30 points from the same number of games

Both teams will next play on 26th February Lugazi FC will visit Ndejje University at Bombo Barracks Grounds.

The Cops will be at Kavumba Recreation grounds against table leaders NEC FC.
