Sam Ssimbwa has sent a message to Kitara FC fans who think he is not the right man for the job that they should know he is not Jesus.

Following their 1-1 stalemate with Booma FC last week, Kitara FC fans called upon the club management to re-appoint Mark Twinamatsiko and sack Ssimbwa.

“I am not Jesus that I will perform miracles, I have just joined the club and the three games that have been in charge, we won once and drew twice. That’s not too bad and It’s not a must that you win every game that you play, we also want it but it’s not a must. Even the likes of Bayern Munich and Man City are also beaten.”

Ssimbwa remains optimistic despite the fans’ criticism

“We shall do everything to see that we win games and meet our targets for this season.” Said Ssimbwa during an interview with NBS Sport

The former URA FC tactician took over at Kitara last month. He works with assistant George Lutalo and Hamza Muwonge as the goalkeeping coach.

Kitara is currently second on the FUFA Big League table with 33 points they have garnered in 17 games. They will next face Jinja North on Thursday at Bugembe Stadium.

The Hoima based side is also one of the six Big League sides that made it to the last 16 of the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
