FUFA Big League table leaders Kitara FC take on second placed NEC FC at the NEC Coffee grounds in Bugolobi.
Both Kitara and NEC are tied at 37 points from 19 games with Kitara having a superior goal difference.
Kitara come into the encounter after beating Lugazi 1-0 in Hoima courtesy of David Kasaija in what was Sam Simbwa’s first ever league victory as Kitara’s head coach.
NEC picked a point off Mbarara City in a 1-1 draw at Kakyeka. Jonathan Sewankambo scored for the Bugolobi based side but Henry Kitegenyi equalized for Mbarara City.
Kitara will be seeking for a double over NEC after winning the reverse fixture 2-0 in Hoima courtesy of Edson Agondeze’s second half brace.

Kiberu Tonny is returning from injury but the club will be hoping their skipper Marvin Kavuma and midfielder Shamir Kimwero pass the late fitness test after picking knocks.

Goalkeeper Farouk Yawe is out injured with thigh muscular pain which means one of his deputies Michael Kagiri and Jamil Kiyimba will be in goal.
Winger Davis Ssali resumed training so he is not expected to take part of the duel.
Budding striker Derrick Byabachwezi has been named in the traveling squad whole Dudu Ramathan is also back from injury.
KEY PLAYERS
NEC FC have heavily relied on their skipper Marvin Kavuma who has scored 10 goals for them.
Julius Kazibwe Magu and January signings Sewankambo and Geoffrey Sserunkuma will be expected to take the scoring burden off Kavuma’s shoulders.
Kitara will be looking up to the experienced forwards George Senkaaba, Paul Mucureezi, Godfrey Lwesibawa and Moses Seruyidde.
A win will ensure the top spot for the winning side on the evening.
