Uganda Cranes midfielder Shafik Kuchi Kagimu has joined Kenya Premier League giants Gor Mahia FC on a four month deal.
The former URA FC has been a free agent since leaving the Tax Collectors after a period of close to eight years.
He reunites with former Cranes coach Johnathan McKinstry who is the current coach of Gor Mahia.

McKinstry has also signed Uganda Cranes striker Patrick Kaddu who left Kitara FC in the mid season.
Their transfers and successful registration come after FIFA lifted the transfer ban imposed on Gor Mahia.
Defender Emery Bayisenge is another signing made by McKinstry who previously coached him during his stint with the Rwanda national team.
Other new signings are Sylvester Owino, Boniface Odhiambo, Gilbert Otieno, Jerome Wangai and Parmenas Ochola.
Gor Mahia is also home to former URA forward Peter Lwasa.
The K’Oghalo are currently top of the Kenya Premier League table with 42 points from 20 games. They are five points clear of second placed KCB.
They are in search of a record extending 20th Kenya Premier League title.
