Fauzia Najjemba got on the score sheet for the first in the Russian Women’s League as her club Dynamo WFC drew 2-2 with Zvezda 2005 Perm over the weekend.

Najjemba who recently joined Dynamo WFC from Kazakhstan champions BIIK Shymkent, scored a brace but was unfortunate not to win all three points on the day.

The Crested Cranes forward scored the first goal of the game with a routine shot in the 26th minute but her goal was cancelled by Valeria Belaya’s equalizer 10 minutes into the second half.

Najjemba restored Dynamo’s lead in the 70th minute with a tap in from a well laid cross but Zvezda Perm equalized once again 10 minutes later through Olesya Kurochkina.

Besides the two goals she has scored so far, Najjemba has three assists on her name and was nominated for the club’s Best player of March.

Dynamo WFC have so far garnered seven points after four games having won twice, drawn and lost the other.

Najjemba and teammates will return to action after the Women’s International break when they host Rostov WFC on 15th April.
