KCCA FC dropped points once again after a 1-1 stalemate with UPDF FC in the first game played under floodlights at MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo.
Douglas Oyirowoth scored a late equaliser for UPDF FC in additional time to deny the hosts maximum points.
Substitute Tshisungu Kankonde had given KCCA the lead heading home a perfect Muhammad Shaban cross in the 57th minute.
The home side had several chances to extend their lead but failed to capitalize on them.
They were meant to pay in the second minute of added time when Oyirowoth levelled matters for the army side.
This is the third game in a row that Morley Byekwaso’s side have drawn after stalemates against Maroons FC and Blacks Power.
They are now five points behind leaders SC Villa but with two games in hand.
In the league, KCCA will never travel to URA FC in Lugazi but will first have to face off with Soltilo Bright Stars in the Stanbic Uganda Cup Quarterfinal next week.
