Asaph Mwebaze’s men will hope to take advantage of KCCA’s winless run of three matches when the two sides meet in the quarter finals of the Uganda cup at Kavumba recreation grounds.

They will be seeking to reach the semifinals and ultimately proceed to the finals for the first time since the 2018/19 season when they lost to Proline FC at Masaka recreation grounds.

KCCA on the other hand have won the tournament on 10 occasions and will be aiming to chase a double, they are also on track of challenging for the league title.

In the previous four times of meeting, Bright Stars have won 2 times, KCCA once and the other ended in a stalemate.

We have trained so well and we know our opponent so well, we need to get back to winning ways as we have not won in our last three games.

They knocked us out of the Uganda Cup last year and we know the kind of threat they possess but we have made corrections since then. A win will motivate us and we know we need to get back to our winning ways.
