Nababi opened the scores in the 7th minute of the game with a powerful low drive that was not well dealt with by the Makerere goalkeeper Zahara Nankya.
Makerere responded with a goal of the season contender scored by Mpanja who struck the equalizer from resultant restart from the center circle with the goalkeeper Elsie Najjemba off her line.

Rines restored their lead once again through National U20 midfielder Eva Naggayi who scored perfectly from the penalty spot following a foul on Namanda in the 58th minute.
The win lifted Rines from the bottom upto the 6th place and on 18 points with three games to the climax of the season.
