Buganda Region Football association has confirmed the venue and date for the promotional play off finals.
Lugazi FC Stadium will host the 2022/23 promotional play off final on 28th May 2023.
Wakiso will also host the 10th Buganda Region Football Associations General Assembly.
The promotional final is played between the team team that tops Katonga group and the Ssezibwa group leaders to determine the champion of the Buganda Regional League.
The confirmation was made through an official document released from BRFA signed by the CEO Brian Ssejemba.
“The Buganda Region Football Associations Executive Committee held on 17th Committe seating on the 31st March 2022 at Buganda RFA’s office in which the following decisions were taken.”
“The Executive Committee resolved that the 10th Buganda Region Football Associations General Assembly be hosted by Buganda RFA’s zone zone -III at Wakiso District in September 2023.”
“The Buganda Regional League play offs for 2022/23 season will be hosted at Lugazi FC Stadium in Buikwe DFA.”
“Buganda RFA Zone I to determine the winner of the Buganda Regional League 2022/23 Season on the 28th May 2023.”
The Buganda Regional League champion will later face off with Kampala Regional League champion where the winner will earn FUFA Big League promotion.
