Charles Peter Mayiga the Kattikiro of Buganda has officially launched the 49th edition of the Bika Byabaganda Football and Netball tournaments that kicks off on Saturday 13th May 2023.
Mayiga who is also celebrating ten years as the Kattikiro of Buganda has called upon all Kabaka’s subjects to storm Wankulukuku in numbers,
“I appreciate our partners Airtel and Uganda Aids Commission for always coming to support us they know that the Kabaka is the heart of Buganda.”
“I call upon all of you to come and enjoy the game with our Kabaka as it is the best way of seeing Buganda back on the top so, I officially launch the 49th edition of the Bika Byabaganda Football and Netball tournaments.”
Buganda Sports Minister and Leisure Henry Ssekabembe Kiberu who was returning from leave, Ali Balunywa from,Airtel, Nelson Musoba (Uganda Aids Commission) several clan leaders were in attendance.
Ngabi Nsamba and Nkima will face off in the opener in both football and netball.
Netball will kick off at 2:00pm while football will start at 3:00pm
Entrance fees will be 10000/= ordinary, 20000/= VIP and 5000/= kids.
